Copa Patria
Ayer sábado 11 de septiembre de 2010 celebramos la competencia Copa Patria 2010 como parte de las actividades de la Jornada Filiberto Ojeda Ríos en Hormigueros, Puerto Rico.
Agradecemos la iniciativa de Damary Burgos y el Comité Organizador de la Jornada, a Miriam Juan por preparar la excelente pista músical para el jam, la Nueva Escuela por el equipo de sonido al igual que a FlatlandFuel por contribuir con premios para todos. Gracias tambien a Berto Mercado por la fotos y a Dani Rivera por el escrutinio de los resultados.

La Jornada busca conmemorar la vida y obra de Filiberto a través de actividades que realcen valores patrioticos y cultures (http://www.filibertoojedarios.org/). Al evento fueron casi todos los flatlanders activos de la Isla incluyendo algunos que estan en un prolongado periodo de descanso del flatland como Berto Mercado y Welgin Silva. Presentes estaban Carlos Toledo, Juan Caldera, Piky Hernandez, Randy Morales, Pedro Medina y quien escribe.
La competencia se llevo a cabo en la Plaza de Recreo Segundo Ruíz Belvis de Hormigueros bajo un refrescante aguacero que duro casi toda la tarde. En el jam de la competencia participaron Piky, Ramón y Juan deleitando al reducido publico presente con infinidad de trucos y hasta una competencia improvisada de obstáculos en la plaza.
